Grandfabric has titled the pop song formula just enough to create a sound that is as unique as it is
accessible. The Philadelphia band carries the torch of the loud (i.e. post-Sinatra) Hudson beat sound of
Yo La Tengo and the Feelies, but has marked its own territory with quirky chord changes that bring to
mind early Talking Heads.
8:00 SYNTHETIC 16 (NEW YORK, NY)
With several luminaries from Tonystark and
Shutdown on board, the year 2003 just might be the year that
veterans Synthetic 16 take their sound to the masses. With the
past 4 years dedicated to powerful live performance's and
expanding their already rich material, the band is starting the
year off with a new website, new self produced cd's,
merchandise, and live events to keep them on their toes!

Days of this has been dubbed "indie-arena" rock by its growing fan
base. Since the band's 2002 inception, days of this has been
tearing up the Eastern seaboard with their edgy synthesis of classic
and contemporary rock and roll.
10:00 SKYLINE DRIVE (READING, PA)
Skyline Drive is a four piece Alt.Rock
group from Reading PA. The band was
formed in the summer of 2002 and will soon
release its first album on DRP Records.
Fans of Foo Fighters, Chevelle, and
Nirvana will dig this.

12:00 DOUGLAS LEADER (BROOKLYN, NY)
Brooklyn Brass Rock. Douglas Leader formed in Brooklyn in 2000 where loud guitars where
everywhere and trumpets and trombones weren't. Ohio Girls, their follow-up to last year's
God Bless Virgins, will be released in fall 2003.
